Terms & Conditions for Events

The following terms and conditions set out the relationship between the event participants and the swissQuant Group AG (hereinafter „swissQuant“ or „organizer“).

1. Contact information

The organizer is swissQuant Group AG, Kuttelgasse 7, CH-8001 Zurich
Phone +41 43 244 75 85, E-Mail info@swissquant.com

2. Registration

Registration for the events can be done via the online form on the website www.swissquant.com. The organizer will decide on the final registration. The organizer may reject registrations without giving reasons.

The participant will receive a confirmation of participation. In the case of events with a mandatory participate fee, the confirmation will be in the form of an invoice.

3. Cancelation

swissQuant events are popular and often fully booked. We are therefore grateful if a participant cancels their registration 24 hours before the event.

If it is impossible to hold the event because a speaker is unable to attend or because the number of participants is too small, the participants will be informed immediately.

4. Liability

Any liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The organizer accepts no liability for any program changes, printing errors or speaker cancellations, nor for the accuracy and completeness of the information and content. The visit to the event location shall occur at one’s own risk.

5. Data protection

The organizer and any co-organizers undertake to comply with the applicable data protection regulations. The information received from the participant will only be used to carry out the event.

The participant acknowledges that swissQuant, based on the registration as well as its legitimate overriding interests, may use the collected data for its own purposes (e.g. for further references to events).

If a participant expressly does not wish this, he or she can inform the organizer of this in writing at any time. The objection is valid from the date of receipt.

6. Image rights

The participant is aware that pictures of the participants may be taken during the event and/or statements expressed may be recorded and acknowledges that swissQuant, based on its legitimate overriding interests may use this material for its own online presence or for other advertising purposes. The participant assigns to swissQuant the necessary copyrights to the image and sound material. Images or videos which represent the participant in a discriminatory manner are excluded from use.

The participant may at any time object to the transfer of copyrights to his/her picture and sound materials to the organizer. The objection is valid as of the date of receipt.

7. Final provisions

The contractual relationship is governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
